Profile

My name is Rikash Awadhpersad and I am a visual storyteller and director. I have a passion for listening to the stories of others and using them as inspiration to create engaging content. My camera is the tool I use to bring these stories to life, and it is the connections I create with my subjects that truly make me love what I do.

2006-2024

I have pursued film studies at various levels, completed internships in the Netherlands and New York, and finally, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree. These experiences have provided me with the skills necessary to create diverse and engaging content tailored to my audience. While working at a digital agency in The Hague, and currently at VARO in Lier, I have gained invaluable experience in different working environments.

Skills

I have a deep interest in creative design and believe that mastering a single aspect is not enough. I possess a range of skills including videography (directing, filming, editing, and color grading), photography (directing, editing, and printing), animation, and graphic design. With this diverse skill set, I am able to offer a complete design package.
