PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY

For this project, I was approached by an agency to collaborate on the visual content for the launch website of a Sustainable Company. My role was to create both animations and a video that reinforced the brand’s vision and delivered an inspiring message to the target audience. Due to the sensitivity of the project, the company’s name remains confidential.

OBJECTIVE

The company aimed to convey quality and reliability. A key aspect of this was making the visuals feel as human as possible. To achieve this, I carefully selected stock footage featuring diverse people in various situations, ensuring that the final video would feel inclusive and relatable.

ANIMATIONS

The agency had already developed the creative design, and my task was to bring it to life through motion. The animations were intended for both the website and social media, serving as subtle yet engaging visual enhancements. I received a layout that needed to be animated, keeping the movements simple and elegant to align with the brand’s aesthetic. These animations provided an extra layer of dynamism to the company’s online presence without overwhelming the clean design.

Video: Research & Concept Development

Since the company leaned heavily on its competitors for visual inspiration, I analyzed their online presence to understand the industry standard. Based on this research and the available budget, I presented a concept outlining the best possible options to achieve their vision. This approach ensured that our final product was both competitive and aligned with their brand identity.

Outcome & Takeaways

The final video successfully brought the shared vision to life, staying conceptually strong despite the limitations of stock footage. The animations added a subtle yet dynamic layer to the brand’s online presence. However, due to a strategic shift, the client ultimately decided not to proceed with the video and animations.

Despite this, the project was a valuable experience in problem-solving, creative adaptability, and strategic storytelling. It reinforced the importance of balancing budget, vision, and feasibility while ensuring that both animated and stock-based content can be compelling and high-quality.
